Year 9 have the exciting opportunity to experience the Tropical Rainforest. The Geography Department have organised a hands on workshop for every student for the chance to find out more about the unique Rainforest environment. A talk will be given by people who have experienced the Rainforest first hand and have built up an extensive knowledge of the animals.
A range of animals will be brought into the Academy so that the students can learn about their habitats and how they have adapted to the Rainforest. Animals that the students will get the chance to touch include snakes, deadly spiders and creepy bugs.
