Dear Parent/Carer,
I regret to inform you that due to ongoing water supply issues at Landau Forte Academy Amington we have no option but to close the school site tomorrow (Tuesday 30th November). We will of course provide all students with our remote learning provision to ensure they can continue to learn tomorrow.
When learning from home, students will be able to access live or recorded lessons following the timetable below via Microsoft Teams:
In order to access Microsoft Teams, please follow the steps:
- Go to www.office.com or open the Microsoft Teams app
- Enter your Amington Email Address (e.g. [email protected])
- Enter the password you would normally use to access the computers in school
- Select ‘Microsoft Teams’ from the available options on the left hand side
- Either ‘Use the Web App’ if you want to use Teams in the Web Browser, or ‘Download Teams’ if you wish to install the app
- Select the appropriate Team from the list of Year Group and Class Teams that will appear to find your lesson.
- At present we fully intend to welcome students back into school on Wednesday 1st December
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but I am sure you will understand that we are unable to educate students on site without clean running water.
