Landau Forte Academy Amington Celebrates Student Success at GCSE
Landau Forte Academy Amington in Tamworth is celebrating as Year 11 students received an excellent set of GCSE results today.
The students at Amington join teenagers across the country who are receiving their results after sitting public examinations in May and June.
Staff at the academy have gone above and beyond to ensure that students were as prepared as possible for their GCSE examinations. Students benefited from an extensive programme of intervention, revision sessions, additional subject support, targeted mentoring and bespoke guidance from dedicated teaching and pastoral staff. This exceptional commitment, delivered both during and beyond the school day, ensured that every student was given the opportunity to achieve their very best.
The academy is particularly proud that this year’s outcomes represent the third consecutive year of improvement, reflecting the sustained hard work of students, staff and the wider academy community.

- Amber Glasgow: two grade 8’s, two grade 7’s, five grade 6’s
- Livvy Morecock: three grade 8’s, one grade 7, three grade 6’s, two grade 5’s
