Enrichment Activities

We offer a range of enrichment and extension activities that take place outside the normal Academy day. These activities are designed to compliment our curriculum programme. They not only help broaden our student’s experiences, but also help to develop important key skills such as team work, confidence and self discipline. The aim is to support the development of our students into mature and effective learners.

Some of the activities available to our students are:

  • The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
  • Music, the Arts, Sport & Health
  • Maths, Business & ICT
  • Communication & Global Education
  • Science & Technology

An example of a recent Enrichment Activity is below; the Performing Arts Christmas Showcase.

Enrichment Week

A major event in the Academy calendar is Enrichment Week, which offers both students and staff the opportunity to take part in a range of diverse activities. The programme has been developed to provide an end of year with a difference.

Activities range from a Year 7 camping residential, to historical visits, such as Warwick Castle and physical activities, such as the climbing wall.
