Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to inform you that we have decided that from Tuesday September 1 we will require
all staff and secondary students to wear face coverings in communal areas, such as lines,
hallways, and corridors.
The safety of our students and staff is our utmost priority as a Trust, and we believe that this
will be instrumental to ensuring the risk of transmission within school is vastly reduced.
Please ensure that your child brings a face covering to school and fully understands how to
wear this to ensure their own protection and to protect others around them. We ask that
students wear a plain face covering with no emblems or pictures.
Please note that the wearing of face coverings will be in addition to ensuring social distancing
measures are in place wherever possible in school, and will not replace any of our other
measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of students and staff.
If you have any questions or concerns about this policy please do contact the school office.
Yours sincerely,
Sarah Findlay-Cobb
Chief Executive Officer
