Update on Reopening to all Students
It is with great pleasure that I can write to you with confirmation that Amington will begin reopening
to all students from Monday 8th March. Thank you to all parents, carers and family members who
have done an amazing job to enable our students to learn at home whilst managing your own busy
schedules; it has been a remarkable collective effort from all involved and everyone at Amington
appreciates your considerable support.
As I am sure you appreciate, the guidance from Government requires attention to detail to ensure
we are effectively reducing the risks presented by Covid19 on the academy site. We are currently
in the process of finalising our planning which will continue to include the wearing of face
coverings, continued implementation of group bubbles but with a significant initial increase of
Covid19 testing for all students.
As always we will do the very best for our students, therefore I will write to you early next week with
the detailed plans regarding the reopening of the academy.
